About Us – D-Milow Enterprise

Founded in 2006 by Dijon L. Milow-Russell, D-Milow Enterprise was born out of a deep commitment to mentorship, leadership, and empowering the next generation. The inception of this consulting business followed a pivotal moment when Dijon was asked to give a speech on the importance of mentoring and leadership—a topic close to his heart given his personal experiences as a mentee and his early exposure to successful business professionals, entertainers, and politicians. Inspired by the positive impact mentors had on his life, Dijon created D-Milow Enterprise with the mission to guide, uplift, and mentor others, especially youth, through impactful leadership and mentorship.

Growing up surrounded by accomplished individuals, Dijon was fortunate to learn from some of the most notable figures in business, entertainment, and politics. This exposure sparked a passion for professionalism and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. He recalls, “I gained a lot of knowledge and experience, having grown up in a professional setting from my youth. From elementary school through high school, I was eager to get involved in business events and leadership activities.” These early experiences fueled his aspirations and shaped his future endeavors in both business and community service.

Throughout his academic journey, Dijon continued to expand his knowledge and hone his skills. As a Student Assistant in the office of Public Relations and Institutional Advancement at his college, he further cultivated his understanding of business, communication, and the power of professional networks. His role allowed him to interact with a wide range of professionals from various sectors, including corporate, nonprofit, education, and publishing, deepening his commitment to service and professional growth.
