African American Males

Men,

I don’t understand why some of us, don’t have any Dignity, Pride, Stature. Something is definitely wrong with our “SWAGGER”. We need some help in that department. For real, Man I was at the mall. And I seen this dude all hug up with his girl. This dude was holding her and his pants from falling off his butt. I was like man come on… I know you don’t have this girl holding you and your boxers. What in the world. A Man, everything we see on T.V. Is not all that real, it’s a Pseudonym. – Meaning fake. False all of these rappers are promoting an Image. In the minds of our youth it’s ridiculous. I don’t understand how we have that going on… In our society see so; many young men don’t have any self-esteem. Some are not career minded. All they care about is smoking and seeing how good a female look. From head to toe, if some of you know what I mean. Men it’s Imperative that we continue to have our Agenda together. Staying on top of things it will take us very far in life. We must keep an Open Mind that we need to stay on top of our game all of the time. Through the good and the bad times Perseverance Is Key! Being able to overcome obstacles

We need to focus on advancing our “Swagger” It’s serious. Because so, many of us are not going to make it in the next 10-20, 30 Years! Some of you looking Confused & Scared and I quote on of the lyrics from a rap song.
“You better get up and get out and get something” Don’t spend all of your time trying to get by & High – Famous Rapper.

Until Next Time Keep The Faith!

African American Ladies

Ladies,

I have one question why in the world would you date. Some guy who smokes weeds all of the time. He is ten years younger than you. When he is not only dating you he is also dating an 18-year-old. I don’t understand why a good-looking female would and if she is in her right state of mind. Would date someone with no distinction? As My Late 102 year’s old great-grandfather would say, a Hobo… Ladies you are more than your hips and Thighs. Physical features, Beauty and Brains! I like and Love. I recall going to a book signing of a very prominent Civil Rights Icon. Sister Man she was beautiful dress very immaculate from head to toe with a hat to match. I also remember when Former Female Prominent Civil Rights Icon she mention in Jet Magazine several years before she passed. That she always wore a hat to match. With every outfit she wore.

Last but, not least Ladies please, and I do mean please… Make sure the guy has good credit! Don’t go buying nothing for his broke butt if, he thinks he’s going to mooch off of you. He can’t and won’t be able to pay you back. I’m just saying it seems as though quite a few females I see don’t have any morals or values.

Educating our Youth

Education is the Key to Success Increasing Knowledge and Understanding. I truly believe it’s imperative that we as a Society stress the importance of education. Especially African-Americans we definitely need to work more with our youth. Our young African-American men are too much worried about trying to shoot a hoop or trying to rap in the entertainment industry. There are a lot of positive programs that are able to assist. My views are different from most, people my age. With that it has given me a grater perspective on life! Many young men don’t know when they look at the entertainment industry. That it’s just pretentious, from the outside looking in.  One time, I recall when I was at a shopping center. There was a young man and his girlfriend walking and hugging he had to hold his pants. That definitely told me this guy has no dignity, pride, and statue or even has a distinct purpose.

I always tell them that I have a “Midas Touch”! meaning I am able to connect with a lot of movers and shakers and I am just my self. I recall being at a book signing and there was a young man who gave his C.D. To a well-known Entertainer. He was not prepared I can’t even Imagine what he might have felt because he wanted to have his C.D. Sign.
